A resident of jerusalem, Mr. Ohayon was born in 1927 in the city of Rabbat in Morocoo, and made Aliya at the age of 12 with his family.
He studied at the "Bezalel" Academy and further enhanced his techniques with the guidance if several prominent Painters.
Most of his paintings reflect his deep love for Jerusalem.
His work is exhibited in israel and throughout the worls.
The work of Mr. Ohayon is deeply and profoundly inspired by the scenery of our eternal capital. The small details, the reminiscent of the magnificent past and the complex and intertwined present.
The objects of his work change, from Syngogues, the Western Wall and the timelees monumental Jerusalem to Tfilin and Tzadikim, but the theme remains the same. The same deep love and longing for Jerusalem and Jewish tradition - humbly and meticulously captured on canvas.
