Benyamin Rozen was born in 1966 in Georgia, Soviet Union. He did aliah with his family when is was 5 year old and since then his family stays in Jerusalem.
He used to paint since he was very young, and after the army he studied with Anatoly Baratynsky and Robert Rosenberg.
Benyamin paints in vibrant, lively colors, capturing many different aspects of Jerusalem and Jewish history hoping to somehow capture the Eternal mysteries surrounding him.
Benyamin paints the Land of Israel: flowers, musicians, and of course the holy places. According to his believes, in Jerusalem the Temple is gone be rebuild, and this desire and passion you can see in his works.
